Hey, I'm Lorri.
I’m Lorri Gail Moffatt—a published author, prolific writer, storyteller, pattern-noticer, and a woman who has lived long enough to know that changing your mind is not always evidence that you were wrong. Sometimes it is evidence that you keep learning.
I ask uncomfortable questions, start over, and occasionally make decisions that cause people to wonder whether I’ve lost my mind.
I write about the thing underneath the thing. This is where all the parts of my life are allowed to live in the same place, so I write about aging, confidence, AI tools, relationships, beauty, Gen X memories, a 1961 house, inherited gardens, and a tiny Yorkie with the confidence of a grown man. The work I’ve done and the lessons I’ve learned through 30+ years in business and leadership belong here too.
Come for the garden and stay for a business lesson. Come for skincare and find yourself thinking about identity. Come because the tiny dog is cute and accidentally leave reconsidering your entire life.
That happens around here.
Welcome. Look around.
I don’t fit neatly into one niche because my life doesn’t—and I no longer believe yours has to, either.
I am the niche.
