The Tuesday Blowout: Why I Plan My Confidence in Advance
March 25, 2025Let’s be real—any time a new tool or technology comes around, people react in one of two ways:
1️⃣ They get curious, dive in, and figure out how to make it work for them.
2️⃣ They back away, saying, “That’s scary” or “I don’t trust it,” and avoid it completely.
I see this happening with AI right now. Some people are excited about the possibilities—while others are convinced it’s a threat. But here’s the truth: AI is just a tool. And like any tool, it’s only as good (or bad) as the person using it.

The Excuse of “It’s Too Scary”
I get it—change is uncomfortable. But I also know that fear of a tool doesn’t make it bad. It just means we don’t fully understand it yet.
Think about it:
- When debit cards first became a thing, people were hesitant. “What if it gets stolen? What if I overspend?”
- When social media started, many resisted. “Why would I share my life online?”
- When any new technology appears, there’s always resistance.
But at some point, those who leaned in and learned how to use these tools wisely found ways to make them work for them. And I’ve always been one of those people.
I wasn’t the first to try AI, but I also wasn’t the first to have a debit card, get on Instagram, or dive into new tools early on. But I’ve never let fear hold me back from learning. I like to be ahead of the curve, not behind it.
AI Is Just Another Tool—Here’s How I Use It
Some people think using AI to assist with writing makes it inauthentic. But here’s the deal:
- I’m not outsourcing my voice.
- I’m not letting AI “do the work” for me.
- I’m refining, amplifying, and making my writing even more effective.
AI isn’t replacing my words—it’s helping me format them better, structure my ideas, and get them ready for where they’re going to live. I still tell stories, use analogies, and create a clear bridge between what I want people to learn and what they already understand.
If anything, AI helps me shine even brighter because it allows me to focus on what I do best: storytelling, leadership, and personal growth.
Why AI Won’t Replace You—But It Will Replace Those Who Don’t Adapt
There’s a lot of fear around AI taking over jobs, replacing creatives, or making human skills irrelevant. But here’s the truth:
🔑 AI won’t replace people. It will replace people who refuse to adapt.
The ones who ignore new tools and refuse to evolve? They’ll fall behind. But the ones who learn, grow, and integrate AI into their skillset will only become more valuable.
We’ve seen this before:
- The internet didn’t replace businesses—it replaced businesses that refused to get online.
- Social media didn’t replace marketing—it replaced marketers who didn’t learn how to use it.
AI is the same. It’s not here to take your place. But if you don’t adapt, someone else will.
Why Is AI Important to Leadership?
If you’re leading a team, a business, or even just yourself toward growth, your ability to adapt determines your ability to lead. AI isn’t just a trendy tool—it’s a leadership tool.
Think about it:
- Leaders stay ahead of the curve instead of falling behind.
- Leaders embrace tools that help them work smarter.
- Leaders learn, evolve, and teach others to do the same.
The truth is, AI won’t replace leadership—it will enhance it.
- It helps you communicate more clearly and refine your message.
- It helps you focus on what truly matters by automating what doesn’t.
- It helps you coach and lead more effectively by allowing you to spend less time on busywork and more time on strategy, relationships, and growth.
If you’re leading leaders, this conversation isn’t optional—it’s essential. The ones who figure this out early will be the ones who shine the brightest.
The Cost of Avoidance
Here’s the thing: the technology isn’t going anywhere. Ignoring it doesn’t make it disappear—it just means you’re choosing not to equip yourself with a tool that could help you.
If you’ve been avoiding AI (or any new tool) because it seems intimidating, I challenge you to lean in. Experiment. Learn. Find ways to make it work for you—instead of assuming it’s a problem.
Your Key to Growth: Embrace the Tools That Help You Shine
I’ve always believed in helping people uncover what’s already inside them. AI doesn’t replace creativity—it unlocks new ways to use it.
So I’ll keep honing my voice, keep making AI work for me, and let the results speak for themselves.
